custom sort attributes or tags
« on: September 10, 2015, 03:32:35 pm »
Is there a way now to set the order of attributes or tags manually?  For my present purpose, that is critical.  (Also, inheriting types need to preserve the custom order.)  I have tried this with UML classes and SysML blocks, but I don't see a way.  For the record, Tools...Options...Objects...Sort Features Alphabetically is unchecked.  EA 12, build 1213.

OK, with SysML blocks, at least, it is possible to show these in the order one creates them.  This works if we override them in the same order.  I'd really like to be able to change the order manually after the fact....

Go into the Attributes dialog (F9), select an attribute and either Ctrl+Up or Ctrl+Down.

It isn't possible to re-order tagged values.

OK, thank you.  I was able to use the Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down features to reorder attributes in the class where I defined them.
Unfortunately, this isn't an option in a class in which I have overridden the attributes.  That would be helpful....
