Event-Exclusive Gateway with default path

Hi,

In some cases it is useful to have a default path for an Event-Exclusive Gateway. The meaning of this: if none of the targeted events occurs in the moment, when the token arrives the gateway, the token should be follow a given path.

The Sparx EA offers to set default path for Event-Exclusive Gateway. Also the http://www.omg.org/spec/BPMN/2.0/PDF/ doesn't prohibit to use  such a path.

Question: is it possible (BPMN conform, of course) to set default path for Event-Exclusive Gateway ?
