Import package from XMI
« on: August 17, 2015, 12:48:11 am »
Hi guys,
During XMI import I get several message boxes saying:
Microsoft cursor engine
Multi-step operation generated errors. Check each status value

Anybody who knows what this means and which status values to check?

Thanks
Knut

Could be an ODBC issue. Which repository do you use?

Sorry, I forgot to mention :-)

I am using EA11 with Cloud and ODBC to a MySql repository from the cloud server.

Can't help with Cloud but since this is (I guess) new code it might well have bugs. So you should report that behavior.

EA just gave up after about 40 hours chewing on a 170MB XMI file. Wrote a program using the Project interface, which did it folder by folder and it completed in 2-3 hours and no problems discovered :-)

I trust you had "Import using single transaction" turned off?

I solved the same problem by switching access the repository by cloud to by odbc datasource.
