How to format numbering for heading
« on: December 09, 2015, 08:30:47 pm »
Hello,

how can we Format the heading numbering for document Generation?

When generating docs, the headings get numeric numbers like
1.2, 3.4 etc.

How can we modify the formatting?
We cannot find anything for that in Stylesheets etc.

IIRC you'll need to do that post generation in Word, using it's multi-level list functionality.

Edit | Lists and Overrides | Edit List Level.

Select Heading and the level you want to edit.

Hello Simon
I was asking about formatting, i.e. font, font size, font Attribute, etc.
and not the list Level.

@Glassboy

No, this is not true.
I found out how to modify it. It is cumbersome and painfull like hell.

It WYDSIWYG, which means
What you don't see is what you get.

One has to define the Stylesheets blindly and during work you only can guess what you have done.

When ready you can apply the style and if wrong, do the correction in the same way. Blind!

Horrible.
Please Change that Sparkies.
