BPMN Simulation for starters
« on: December 10, 2015, 04:26:52 am »
Hi,

I have evaluation version of 12.0.1.1215 and only 8 days remaining.

I have been trying to do a simulation of a very simple activity diagram, but it either directly says "Simulation Ended" or says "Simulation Failed". Also while trying to configure entry point, I donot see the "ActivityInitial" element of my model.

Also once I run the simulation, I have to close and reopen project to be able to re-run the simulation.

Any help?

If it comes to the crunch, write to Sparx Sales and request an extension key for the trial edition. The extension is usually for 30 days, but if necessary you can get a longer extension.

I'm assuming you have reviewed the Help files on setting the simulation configuration details?

The easiest way to start a simulation of an activity diagram is to select Execute Simulation | Interpreted Simulation from the diagram context menu.

The simulation entry point should be the activity that owns the starting point. (ie. The "correct" way to model your activity diagram is inside an Activity element.)
