EA crash when losing network connectivity.

Steps to reproduce:

connect to a SQLServer2000 repository
unplug network access
plug back in. (after 1-2 minutes)
try to save work in progress.

You receive:

Microsoft OLEDB Provider for SQL Server -2147467259
Connection Failure.

Then

EA has experienced a network error and will close down.

Then

The instruction at X referenced memeory at 0x00..004 Click ok to terminate (GPF)

This is not good if using a wireless adapter!

Have you tried this with any other OLEDB apps to the same server ?

As Thomas says, it may well be a problem with that library rather than EA.

Also check the Microsoft Knowledge Base website with relevant keywords, there may be an issue reported there.
