how to get SVN revision of packages?

Hello,

we are using a shared model (EAP file) and we are using Subversion.
I would like to develop a AddIn to get SVN revision of packages. Is a method to get SVN revision of packages and also the log?

I can indirectly get this information by playing with the SVN working copy and external SVN command.
