Insert other field types in RTF-template
« on: June 04, 2005, 01:04:08 pm »
I would like to be able to insert other fields in the RTF-template, e.g. index, table of figures, etc.

Just curious... Have you tried creating these in MS Word to see what type of RTF it generates when you Save As and RTF file?

I would imagine if you could figure out the RTF, you could do what you want.

But, I haven't played with it.  So, I may not know what I'm talking about.  :D

Yes but what then is the relationship between the original RTF-template and the final result that I want? If I do not know this then I cannot change the template.

Also, how can I edit the template directly, e.g. without having to use the interface?

I guess I could export to an XMI-file, play around with the contents and then somehow re-import it. Is that a possibility?
