RTF Templates - change and defect for Package
« on: February 08, 2006, 01:22:20 am »
Hi,

I need to report on Change and Defect on the Package level, not only on Element level as is possible now.
The question may be wider than the Change and Defect - may be tomorrow we need any of the attribute, that is available for Element,  to be reported on Package lavel as well.
Is there a way to do this without  opening an extension request with Sparx ?

Cheers
EVK

Just select a package (either on a diagram or the tree) and use the Maintenance, Testing, Tagged Values windows and the properties dialog.  As far as I know everything available to set for an element should be possible with a package.

Thanks for the reply. BUT I know already how to specify the Change or Defect on a Package, this was not a problem.

The problem is that in a document that I am trying to generate using RTF Style Template I can not have the Change and Defect for a Package.

I can do this for Element, but not for Package.

Alternatively I can do this using another type of Template - Legacy Template, but then I do not have WYSIWYG control over the design of the document.

The feature is promised to be available in build 787.
