BPM and Simulation

Is there currently any way in which simulations can be performed against a Business Process Model created in EA, either from within EA itself or via Third Party Software? If not, have you any plans to incorporate simulation functionality into the product?

I take it you mean "can we 'run' the model" in BPMN or whatever. There was something in the forum on this fairly recently. For some reason I cannot find it just now, nor can I remember what was said.

The short answer was 'no, EA does not do that' but I cannot remember if there was a stated intent to provide it in the future. I think the answer to that was 'yes' with some time frame or caveats.

Take a search through the forum, for messaged in the last couple of weeks, or certainly since the beginning of this month (2006-04). I think you will find one of BPMN, BPEL, or Business in the title of the article.
