CUTE: Chercher le connecteur

When you drag a class with a reflexive association onto a diagram, the default reflexive drawing is rendered.  Everything is on top of the other...   :-X

If you have more than one reflexive then it's really hard.   ::)

You have to move everything out of the way to get at the connector to re-size it then put everything back...

It would be good if we could set up default "pinning" for connectors on a shape.   8)

However, in the interim, I (accidentally) discovered a useful trick...  Position the mouse over where you think the connector is (uder the overlaying text boxes), and then hold the [Ctrl] key down and [Left Click].  The connector and NOT the overlaying text boxes will be selected...  Cute!   ;)

HTH,
Paolo

Voting for Default Pinning starts now...

[WARNING:  Make sure you are over the connector... Otherwise holding down the [Ctrl] key and clicking will adds whatever the last element placed on the diagram was... - Edit as a result of the next post]

Actually, Ctrl+Click on the diagram (excluding a connector or existing element) adds whatever the last element placed on the diagram was, something that is a popular feature.

Ctrl+Click on a connector will place a waypoint at that position and select the connector.  However, as waypoints have been disabled on reflexive connectors because it makes them too hard to handle, it just selects them.

Thanx for clarifying that Simon.

For the record, if you have a Direct line, then no waypopint is created with [Ctrl+Click] - but the line is still selected.

Right, so what I should have said is that Ctrl+Click on a custom style connector will place a waypoint.  Reflexive, direct and auto-routing connectors will only be selected.
