file extension for custom code generation scripts
« on: May 14, 2007, 10:01:26 am »
hi,

i think it should be possible to set the file extension for the files produced in a custom code generation script. the ".java" default makes no sense, because when i write my own transformation script, its very likly that it doesn't produce java code.

regards,

 christian

Cristian,

If you've not already done so, please also send this to Sparx as a feature request - this is a user forum.

In your feature request, paste the URL for this thread. This allows Sparx to find the thread. They can use this to guage the level of support in the user community. They can also post any comments and workarounds they may have - as can other users.

You can reach the feature request form by clicking the Support link at the top of any forum page, then clicking Feature Request in the left-side menu. You can also reach the form from the EA main menu via Help | On-line Resources | Request-a-Feature.

David

PS: Add my vote.
No, you can't have it!

Hi all,

You need to use MDG Technology file to specify your original extention.

In detail, please check 'Adding Code Modules in MDG Technology Wizard' page in your Help file.

Hope this helps,
