Is there a plan to support BPMN 1.1 ?
See http://www.inubit.com/bpmn for changes between 1.0 and 1.1

Not yet apparently.

Note that OMG has a note - see: http://www.omg.org/technology/documents/br_pm_spec_catalog.htm#BPMN - that the OMG release of BPMN was numbered 1.1 since there was an earlier 1.0 already 'out there.' The content is largely the same, as your citation shows.

IMHO there are a few important changes - addition of signals for example - but a fair number of changes are more along the lines of updates and clarifications to the descriptive portions of the standard. These refine the usage of BPMN and give some context and bounds to what's semantically sound.

Given that BPMN 1.2 is now at the beta 3 stage I suspect (without proof) that we'll soon see an upgraded standard. [You can pull a version with change bars from: http://www.omg.org/spec/BPMN/1.2/Beta3/]

We might just have to wait and see.
