Lost Data

Morning All

Anyone know where/if EA stores temporary copies of work.

I have a problem in that yesterday I spent 7 intense hours doing a complete resort of the BPMn NHS Permissions Model to circulate to the CSP OSG and the new version has not saved to the portal.

Fortunately I have a word version that can be circulated but I do not have the EA version

I am absolutely 100% that I regularly saved this but when I open it I get the version from before Christmas.

The file is ‘BPMn Permissions Process 26112009’

The work I was saving yesterday must have been saved somewhere but I have no idea where it is

can anyone help? I really do not want to spend a day repeating this

Thanks

Trracs,

EA saves immediately to the database when doing something.
The only thing that you could have lost is diagram layout. (e.g. the positions of the elements on the diagram).
That is also the only thing that gets saved when you hit the save button.

I suggest you use the search facility to find the elements you were working on.
If you can't find them that must mean that the elements got deleted. In that case, go find your backup  :-X
