Question about licence
« on: January 07, 2010, 06:58:17 pm »
We have a 15 user corporate licence, but what happens when someone detects a bug? Can each user report a bug via the registered support request form?
(The person who "registred" EA is an administrative person, who doesn't even use EA, and don't want to file bugs for us.)

Marcel,

I think you only get one "registered user" with a password per purchase.
If you distribute that user/password to the people responsible for logging bugs with EA you should be fine.

I never report a bug in this way, but I want to... just hope to speed up things. But if  I do that, would I receive email if any question occures on the Sparx side?

Yes,

If you report a bug it is treated as a support issue.
If they have any questions or alternative solutions they contact you by email.

The license account is independent from your mail address. You log into the Sparx site as a registered user with the registered user ID and password. When reporting a bug from there you give your email address for further correspondence.

We have 10 licences. I believe each is entitled to a registered ea user id,
but currently we just have two.
