Own Plugins in Desktop-Edition?

I have one short question.

Is it possible to use my own plugins written in Basic (for example to write my own Documents) in the Deskop-edition of EA?

If not... which EA version do I need to be able to use my own Plugins?

Eric,

You can even add addins (plugins) to the EA lite edition. (it doesn't even restrict you from actually editing the model that way  )
So yes, definitely possible in the destop edition.
