implement recognising generics in rev. eng
« on: March 12, 2010, 08:12:27 pm »
Hello,

I have to do a lot of reverse engeneering in the near future.
Currently I am evaluating EA wether it is a good tool for my purpose.

Unfortunately I today realized, that EA does not recoginze classrelations based on generics.

Detail:
I have two C# classes:
- MachineCtrl
- Machine

The class MachineCtrl as a attribute "machineList" of type "List<Machine>".

Dragging MachineCtrl to a class diagram and then dragging Machine to the class diagram I would expect EA to recoginize the relationship, but obviously it does not  :(

It is very likely, that we will buy EA, therfor PLEASE add the capability of generics recognizion to EA.

Otherwise I fear to oversee some class relations on my reverse engeneering job  :'(

Regards
Rainer
