Raised line crossings for connectors
« on: May 11, 2010, 05:01:05 pm »
Hi,

Is there a way to display raised line crossings where two connectors cross each other? Does that feature exist already and, if not, can this be considered a feature request?

Best regards,

Alen

Alen,

AFAIK this feature doesn't exist in EA.
If you want to raise it as a feature request please use the link on the bottom of the page.

Thanks, Geert,

I did exactly that. Hope it will be of use for a number of people.

Cheers,

i don't agree! just avoid line crossings in your diagrams as its recommended everywhere.
line crossings indicate design flaws, and there are other ways to solve that.

Hi Gunther,

In principle agreed... But given other aspects of EAUI where you DON'T have enough control over the positioning and routing of lines...  (See recent postings on non-selectability of certain Notelink connections) I think it's OK.  Even while you're trying to sort out the layout...

However, in the scheme of things, there are more important BUGS to fix...  (Which may be the reason for your posting)
