Tooltips

Hi,

we are evaluating EA at the moment. One thing that caught my attention instantly after installing is lack of tooltips on toolbar/popup menu items. Am I doing something wrong or are they really missing. If the latter is true, I'd strongly suggest adding them. Even for experienced user tooltips help to identify commands, most importantly those not frequently used.

Daniel,

You must be doing something wrong, because on my pc I get tooltips on almost anything.
I admit sometimes they are less then useful (just repeating the name of the command I already see), but most of them actually have additional information.

Thanks for reply Geert. Now that I checked, tooltips show in EA 9 Beta. They don't show up in Visual Studio 2010 add-in. That's what confused me.
