Disable diagram auto-update w/ new relationship
« on: June 08, 2013, 02:44:45 am »
In EA 10, is there a way to "lock" a diagram so that new relationships that are created (elsewhere) between elements in the diagram are not automatically added to the diagram? I tried using the diagram lock feature, but this did not prevent new relationships from being added, which are not relevant to the purpose of the diagram, and only clutter it.

Thanks.

I don't get it why people are so keen to suppress links. If a link is introduced it has meaning in all diagrams. Suppressing it must be an exception, not the rule.

So the answer to your question is: no. You can't do that. Try "Hide Connector in other Diagrams" from the context menu.
