Add tagged value support in Diagram Filters

Hi,

I need to apply filters on a number of diagrams based on the tagged value in elements or connectors.
Would it be possible to have a list of predefined tagged values added to the available fields so we can define a value to filter on?
e.g. if I create an enum TV "category" with possible values as cat1, cat2, cat3, and apply this TV on my classes and associations, I could easily hide/show only cat1, cat2, etc.

Could this be added to the next build of EA?

I shouldn't say this, but No. (not because its not a great idea though)

First you need to submit a feature request, then you need to get ALL your friends and EA trainers to submit the same featrue request (Sparx do not make visible feature requests or bug reports, so there is no way to 'vote' for them, or see their priority or progress).

Then you need to have much patience.
So the No is for 'No you likely won't get it in the next release', or any other release, but don't let that stop you trying.

Me too - I think I replied to the post mentioned earlier.

This facility would close the gap that EA has with some other products (like BizzDesign Architect) and enable it to do proper heat maps and answer queries such as 'What applications have support costs more than £100,000 per year', as well as more general Architecture queries like 'Which components are needed to transition between phase 1 and phase 2 ?'

Tags are a great customisable capability but are not fully exploited by the tool.
