Hide package name in a diagram hyperlink
« on: January 08, 2016, 01:59:38 pm »
Hi all,

I'm creating some navigation pages for business-type users and am using diagram hyperlinks to help them get around the model.

However, each link has the format "package name : diagram name" which is kind of redundant as both names are often the same.

With these objects, switching off the "Show Namespace" option under Diagram settings makes no difference.

Any suggestions?

Just stumbled across the solution ...

Open Properties for the hyperlink and enter the text you want in the Notes box.

A little cumbersome as it requires separate maintenance if the linked model changes name, but it will do for now.
