Add an Element Discussion and Comments to discussion

I would like to know via API is there a way to add new discussions to Element and Comments to discussion (Element discussion)

I don't think the Element discussions are exposed in the API, but they are stored in t_document.
So you can read and write them to that table directly if you want.
