EA handling network error
« on: January 26, 2016, 02:34:15 am »
Every now and then EA seems to have trouble dealing with network errors. After a session ended with this error, it's impossible to restart EA and open the *.eap again: the same error keeps occuring. When I copy the *eap to a local folder and try to open it from there everything works fine.

I've tried to delete the locking file (*.ldb) manually but then Windows says the file cannot be deleted because user 'admin' had it still open.

Any thought on solving this issue, not being transferring *eap file to an Oracle database :-)?

Yes. Do not use EAP on a network drive. Mickeysoft Access is not very resilient when it comes to that kind of usage.
