File export formats
« on: February 16, 2016, 09:24:07 pm »
Hello!

I have been testing out Sparx EA, and I like it. I am, however, concerned with the available "save as/export" options provided in the Trial version. I see no way of saving as or exporting to graphic file formats such as PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, etc.

Only PDF seems available, and the quality output seems very, very low (in the Trial version, the PDF is exported with watermarks, which is fine), but many elements of my diagrams are misaligned and their position on the model is somewhat wrong compared to what I see on-screen when modelling inside Sparx EA.

Does this happen too in the bought version?

Thanks!

Try Ctrl-T when on a diagram

Check Tools|Options for some options with regards to exported diagrams.

Ctrl-T also know as Diagram | Save Image to File.

The Diagram top level menu is one of the contextually more consistent  of the menus   :D
