Hello

I have used EA for over ten years but now, in version 12 I cannot work out how to decompose in a diagram. It should show a small icon, looks like a butterfly in  a model, say a BPMn activity, but I cannot get it to do that.

Also how I change the relational data relationships to look to crows feet?

Is there an idiots guide to stuff like this? just some thing to tell me the absolute basics? I have spend hours going through help and the Webinars but some seem to assume that  I know the answers already.

Best Regards

https://leanpub.com/entarch might contain a couple of those bits you're looking for.

I know there is some option with the crow feet, but it's not my area.

I have no idea what you mean with "decompose in diagram".

Dave,

- For Crows Feet go to right click on diagram and choose Properties. Then on the Connectors tab change Connector Notation to Information Engineering.

- For the "decompose" feature I'm guessing you are looking for the composite diagram option. Where doubleclicking on an element will open the linked diagram.
To do so right click on the element on the diagram and choose New Child Diagram and select on the options there.
