Importing of Canonical XMI 2.1 now available:
- This version of XMI standardizes locations for information in a way that previous versions of Enterprise Architect couldn't import
- Allows importing of XMI distributed by a number of OMG specifications

Should this change allow me to start importing FIBO (http://www.omg.org/spec/EDMC-FIBO/BE/1.0/Beta2/index.htm)?  When I try the import dialog simply disappears with nothing imported.

The XMI for FIBO doesn't appear to be in canonical format.

I just tried importing the Corporations file. It created a number of packages, classes and generalizations between them. It looks like attributes are missing, not sure what else.

Probably a worth sending in a support request.

I have some existing support requests in around RDF/OWL with FIBO as an example, which is why i though this update might be addressing the problem, but I'll raise a new support request.

Back to drawing FIBo manually :-)
