Link to Connector Feature mechanism

We're very big on actually defining the items in our models - rather than just having undefined shapes of sometimes dubious name.  So much so, that we have created a decoration on the items to indicate that they haven't yet been defined (Notes empty).


Conversely, one normally doesn't attach notes to relationships.  We've taken the view that if a modeller decides to document a relationship, we want to surface that fact on the diagram so you can go and have a look.  So, we've created an analogous decoration for relationships to show that the Notes are not empty.  However, on diagrams that need to be printed (remember paper), there's no mechanism to surface the content of the notes.  You can attach a note to the connector, but you have to manually copy and paste the Notes Text into the Note Element. What I think is needed is a Link to Connector Feature mechanism analogous to the Link to Element Feature for shapes for the visible Notelink.

Create a note element linked to a connector. Right click on the note and you have under the advanced menu 'Link to Connector Notes', 'Link to Connector Tagged Values' and 'Link to Connector Constraints'.

If this feature is implemented it would aid usability if it worked the same way as the note connected to an entity.
