Hide Menu Bar in Workspace

For reasons I won't go into now, we'd like to create a specific perspective whose workspace contains no Menu Bar.  There doesn't seem to be a method to do that via the normal user interface.  However, is it possible to edit the .eaworkspace file to achieve this?  If so, how?

Those files appear to be simple regedit export files.

Export two with a change only to the position of the menu bar.

From that information you may be able to find what to break. But I suspect it will break more than you're bargaining for.

Yes, I understand about breakage.  However, if I don't try I won't find out if I can get away with it...

Tried that... TOO much changed for me to figure out which is the Menu Bar.  Beyond Compare reported 74 section differences in a .eaworkspace file <400Kb

Are the Toolbar IDs fixed?
