Actor classifier and instance
« on: June 03, 2016, 02:37:04 pm »

I have an actor (classifier) on a diagram - in rectangular notation.
I wanted to replace it with instance (to represent a specific type of actor).

How do I give the instance rectangular notation (i.e. make it look the same as the classifier was)?

Hi Skiwi, see my posts on Rectangular Notation over the last week.

Basically, you can create the shape script to render the rectangular form to your liking, however, if the t_object.ObjectType of the Instance is "Object" then you won't get the Context Menu item.  The shapescript will however, respond correctly to the Rectangular Notation test - if you can set Rectangular Notation by some other means.

Sparx have acknowledged the defect.
