I'm finding the new ribbons quite usable, and its great to see icons

The new "layout" ribbon seems to be the best one to have available when working on a diagram.


A request please to consider having the items under the edit drop down immediately accessible (e.g. as small icons), rather than being an extra click away.
Specifically the copy and paste options.


Also, to the right of the ribbon tabs is a search with the title "find command". Please consider providing a mapping of command to ribbon and section within ribbon (similar to the Keyboard accelerator map).


There are still toolbars, such as workspace layout. I'd like to be able to dock them in a ribbon or say with the project browser.

If you click on the small Sparx logo in the top left of the Ribbon bar (above the Window icon) you display a File Management dialog. At the bottom of the dialog is a search field, in which you type the function that you are looking for. The panel above the search field lists the things that match the search. Right click on the option you need, and it highlights the icon in the ribbon that provides the function. (Left click on the function and it goes ahead and enacts it.)

Thanks Roy, that is most helpful.


I tried it with "Copy". It did get me to the "Layout" ribbon, but no icon is highlighted.
