Visually show constraint on attribute
« on: June 03, 2016, 07:17:33 pm »
Hi!

Is there a way to visually show the constraint name on an attribute? Or at least show some kind of notification that there is a constraint on the attribute.

The only thing I have found (by searching this forum) is to add the tag xUML and put the constraint name as value, but this requires a change to be done at two places; both the constraint list and for this tag. Also, I cannot find any information about this tag xUML. Is it some kind of "hidden feature" that might disappear in a later version of EA?

There is no other way (AFAIK). The xUML is something that lies around in my memory covered with a lot of Sparx-dust. I would not have thought of it (and probably would not have found it without some great urge). However, it's quite unlikely that things will be deprecated in EA. Sparx is very Mickeysoft-ish.

Thanks for the information! Then we might use xUML.
