Deleting Packages-File sharing lock count. exeeded
« on: June 09, 2010, 08:05:19 pm »
I hava a very strange problem with removing Packages by API (very large file *.eap). Sometimes I get the message:

File sharing lock count exceeded.  (Error 3052)

I have found some information in MSDN (problem with driver), I have changed my reg keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Access Connectivity Engine\Engines\ACE

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\Engines\Jet 4.0

according to MSD site:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/815281/en-us

But the problem still exists.

Have you ever got the same problem ?

Best regards

Yes. Same problem here. What I do: move parts to a separate folder. Delete the folder. Repeat until done.

You like that?

Same problem(s) here when trying to synchronize a replica with the master EAP file, error in this case appears to occur randomly as after a few tries I could synchronize... strange
