Exporting a statemachine diagram
« on: July 14, 2016, 07:55:35 am »
When I create a statemachine, EA creates a diagram with a frame of the statemachine inside. I can place states only inside this frame. Now, when I export this diagram, EA adds a second diagram frame. WOT? And how can I get rid of that? Soooo simple. Create a new statemachine diagram besides the bad one. Delete the diagram frame inside! Copy/paste the contents of the bad diagram without (!) the frame. Trash the bad one. Write a complaint in the forum :P

I reported that issue too a while ago, and they agreed it would be better if we could turn that behavior off.
So one day we'll have a new option to turn off automatic state machine references on state machine diagrams.

Strange. In former times when diving into details it was like "oh, that's possible too!". Now it more and more feels like "oh, that dead end is broken too!".  :(
