Export Reference Data RTF Sytle + RTF Style Detail
« on: November 24, 2010, 08:11:27 pm »
Hi,

does anyone know how these two exports should work?

EA help tells me:
  • Templates - RTF Style (exports the Legacy RTF Style templates in the Templates folder of the Resources window)
  • Templates - RTF Style Detail (exports the content of the RTF templates)

But when I look at the exported files, the first type has no content (besides the XML structure) and the second does not contain all RTF styles used in my templates, only some of them are there ...

Thx,
Happy

P.S.: Build 864

These two reference data items are for old RTF templates.

How could I determine which of my templates are old ones and which are new?

If use the RTF template editor to create templates then they are the new ones.

The old styles templates can be accessed by the switching to the old generator (a button on the Advanced tab of the RTF generator dialog).

In the Help, this is called the Legacy RTF Generator. The 'new' generator has been around for a long time, but we have found that there are still some people who are using the Legacy Generator. We don't maintain the Legacy Generator, but we have not excommunicated it either. Yet.
