Set page color
« on: August 22, 2016, 01:37:37 am »
Hi. I want to create a cover page similar to the attached one.

In order to to this, I need to fill the entire page with a background color. I've set page margins to 0, but I cannot fill exactly the page. I've created a table with a single cell but I cannot fill the entire page with the table cell. If I try to enlarge the cell to the entire page, when the bottom border almost reaches the bottom part of the page, a new page appears.

What's the most intelligent way to set a background color for the page?

Later versions of EA allow you to set a background "Tile" which can be coloured.

Also, EA 13 (currently in Beta) allows you to set a theme per diagram. You can define your own theme with your own preferred background colour.

I suspect jepessen was wanting to do this in context of document generation.

Edit - You should be able to set the page properties to have no border on your cover page template, then set the background color. (On version 13 this is the top right most button on the ribbon)

Because EA will place a section break between the cover and the rest, it should then go into a normal page layout for later sections. This appeared to work for me.
