TFS 2010 with EA 7.1.834 ?

We are currently using Visual Studio 2008 and TFS (Team Foundation Server) 2008 with EA 7.1.834. Configuration of Team Foundation Server is done through the Version Control Settings in EA, in which the path to tf.exe is specified. EA uses tf.exe with command-line parameters to execute version control operations.

We are planning the migration to TFS 2010, and we have a few questions:
- Will EA version control still work if we use Visual Studio 2008 with the Forward Compatibility pack for compatibility with TFS 2010 ?
- Will EA version control still work if we use Visual Studio 2010, and let EA use the VS2010 tf.exe command-line tool?

We are using EA 8.0 (850) with TFS 2010 without any issues.
The path to the executable is: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\TF.exe"
