Drill in from system or class into data entities
« on: October 03, 2016, 11:32:18 pm »
Hope someone can help me with this. I am fairly new to this tool and am trying to build the enterprise data model.

In doing so I would like to show initially the systems view and then provide the level 2 view that shows the list of tables/entities and their attributes. Would really appreciate if someone can share a link or steps to help me achieve that.

All help appreciated.

Have a look in the EA Example: Help/Open Example Model.

Thanks qwerty, I managed to achieve what I wanted using the below link:

Have one more question if you can help, is it possible to copy and past attributes in a class from Excel?

Thanks again.

No, but you can import them using a free importer I built:

Would be neat if you could drag them onto the features window like when you drag text over a diagram and it will create an element.
