MDG : SysML ibd view specification
« on: April 15, 2022, 08:43:50 pm »
Hi,

I have a custom SysML MDG with stereotyped blocks and ports (I set the stereotype name in the metatype).
I use view specifications on the SysML BDD and IBD diagrams to expose my stereotypes and native SysML elements/relations.

On the BDD, I can create from the toolbox the stereotyped blocks and ports.
On the IBD, users would like to add a new stereotyped port on a part. When using the toolbox, the port is created with a name matching the metatype e.g. MyCustom, but the stereotype is empty. I have to manually add the MyCustom stereotype on the part's port.
I noticed that it only applies to parts that have a block associated (from the BDD definition), visible via the Set Property Type. If I create a part in the ibd which is not typed by a block, I don't have this problem.

Is there a workaround ?
