Spell-check and HTML
« on: September 28, 2016, 05:04:01 pm »
If you include HTML highlighting in the Notes section of an item,  The incorrect term is  supplied to the spell checker.

For example: <u>F</u>ederal sends TWO terms: "F" and 'ederal" to the spell checker.  This is a REAL PAIN and susceptible to errors.

Since the spell checker only understands Unicode (or possibly only ASCII), HTML rendering should be stripped.

NOTE: The IgnoreHTMLMarkups entry in the Registry ONLY causes the <u> (above) to be ignored, not the suppression of the <u>
