DB Query to Identify Objects with Relationships to other Objects
« on: November 17, 2016, 09:02:39 pm »
Good day,

I am in the process of identifying objects that do or don't have links to diagrams which I have been able to achieve so far. The next piece of my work is to identify which of these objects are related to other objects. If you open up EA and you right click for instance on an object with the stereotype "Application", you can clearly see the relationship between this object and other objects. This is where I am stuck. I cannot find in the SQL DB a column / table that shows whether an object is related to another object.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

That's in t_connector, with the source and destination elements in t_connector.Start_Object_ID and t_connector.End_Object_ID, respectively.

HTH,

My theories are always correct, just apply them to the right reality.
