Doc generation template - External requirements of element sorted by alias

Is there a way via doc generation template only (no scripts) to get the External requirements of an element in the output document sorted by alias ?

If you only need some specific fields then then you could use an SQL fragment.
That won't work if you need diagrams or something like that.

It is indeed the case, I need linked docs and child elements. I will then use the script solution.
