Ok, here are all the problems in more detail.
1. Column description
We use EA primarily for modelling of datawarehouses. In DW world, it is common to have more fields for description of a column. One for column comment (which goes to the database), another one for business description and another one for technical description. You can check competitive CASE tools, that they, mostly, support more descriptive fields for columns. Even EA did this, but from version 12 it is no more possible. There is only one field for column description and that's all. In version 10, we added fields for business and technical description as tagged values (see pic11), but in version 12 we are not able to access these tagged values (see pic12). When migrated to version 12, our models would be unusable.
2. Column stereotype
In version 10, there was possibility to add another stereotypes to columns. We used this to add some important information about column behaviour (see pic21). But additional stereotypes are no more possible in version 12.
3. Column operation
In version 10, there was possibility to add operations of user defined stereotypes (except of standard PK, FK, unique, index, check, trigger, proc). We used it to add operations of two additional sterotypes (Phase_Basic and Phase_Update). This is no more possible in version 12. User defined operation are visible though, but not all of it's properties are accessible (we used columns, which are still accessible and pre-conditions and tagged values, which are inaccessible) and there is not possible to add such a new operations. You can see situation from versions 10 resp. 12 at pictures pic31 resp. pic32. The way we used operation columns (pic33), pre-conditions (pic34) and tagged values (pic35) you can see at mentioned pictures.
I would like to attach pictures, but it looks I'm not allowed to do it. If you give me your address, I will sent it to you.
