Requirement Types in the Relationship Matrix
« on: January 27, 2017, 04:33:32 am »
I create in Configure >> Project types >> General Types >> Requirement, this types:
- Business Rule
- Req. Functional
- Req. NonFunctional
- Message

When I search in the Relationship Matrix this types don't appear in the list.

How I can select them?

You cant. Those requirements you defined are reference data, not elements. You can create Requirements from the Extended/Requirements toolbox. Elements created this way can be made visible in the RM.

Hi

I completely agree with Q,but there is another way of doing Business Rules and Messages create them as Actions, see my eBook, where I teach you how to create and organized them.

Thanks, I use it because when I create a Requirement into the use case, only I can select the types that I create (Configure >> Project types >> General Types >> Requirement) I don't have the option that select for example the Extended/Requirements. How I can select the Extended/Requirements when I create a Requirement into the use case (Internal Requirement)?

Press the space bar with focus on the diagram. Now from the menu select Other/Extended/Requirements/Requirement (you can also create a req.-diagram or lock the menu in the Tools view). Now you have a requirement element. Create a trace relation between the requirement and where ever it is used. What I often do with use cases is to create a composite diagram for the UC where I put the UC in the center (highlighted with thicker border). Requirements which have been captured earlier in an according requirements tree are now dragged onto this diagram and traced to the UC.
