Search in packages
« on: February 07, 2017, 08:32:11 am »
I have a model where I added 2 packages in it . when I searched for an element while I'm in one package , EA doesn't list me the element present in the other package . Is this a limitation with sparx Search , if not can someone point me to the steps.

thanks
Suresh

I used the Ctrl + F which brought me the "Find in Project" Window . I used the default options in there
"Common Searches" , "Simple", "<search Term>"

Click on the Edit Search button and check that the check box against Name is selected.

BTW: the general search will find names independently of any focus you set in the project browser. It's a global search. Though it is possible to create searches that work only in single branches of the project tree.
