Heat Map Series, grouping, and sizing

Hi all,
I'm a bit confused about Heat Maps. I have an set of "class" elements that are stereotyped as "Features". Each has two custom tags (lets call them Tag1 and Tag2).

I want to create a heat map with the grouping by Tag 1 value, and the sizing in each group by the tag2 value.

I don't see a way to do this in the interface, so I'm guessing that I need to use custom SQL. Is this correct?

Any tips on how to access a tag value via SQL?

I'm sure this is in the user guide, but haven't found it yet.

Pointers to the docs appreciated.

I am having the same problem trying to create Heat Maps. It is not very intuitive.
