Security Question
« on: May 11, 2017, 12:19:20 pm »
Hi Everyone,
Is there is a way to put a security on the package that only certain group can see its content?
I know I can lock it for changes, but the other people accessing the repository can still see the content, but cant change it. I just do not even wants them to see each others content.

I know I can create a separate repository and limit it to the group members, but it is way too many groups to manage, and the organization want to only have one database for everyone, but limits the access right on the package level.

is there is a way to do that in SPARX EA? or is there is a way to accomplish the same thing is a different way than security?

Thanks,
Faisal

No, hiding packages is not a function in Enterprise Architect.

Just for your information,

In near future, you will be able to manage visibility of Packages as you want with Pro Cloud Server and the Row Level Security feature.
