MissingDiagramConstructs rows in t_xref
« on: November 10, 2015, 03:09:32 pm »
In checking out something for the multiple toolboxes thread, I noticed our repository has 2271 t_xref rows of Name:MissingDiagramConstructs & Type: MissingDiagramConstructs.  Since qwerty's excellent book "InsideEA" doesn't mention them, I guess they're something new.

Can anybody tell me what they are?  If there are currently NO problems with the Integrity Checker, can I purge them from the DB?

TIA,
Paolo

Yes, I also have never seen them (so they are not in the book). I could imagine that they are connected with (partial) XMI imports. Just a guess.

We take a clone of the Production Repository every morning.  I deleted the rows from the clone and the Integrity Checker didn't complain.

I'll be purging them later today...  If any Sparxian suggests I shouldn't, then "speak now, or forever hold your peace". :D

I was wandering through t_xref again today (looking for something else) and these were there again.

Can a Sparxian confirm I can delete them without damage (the last time was a few versions ago)?

What are they anyway?
