Pro Cloud Installation Issue
« on: February 23, 2018, 11:48:16 pm »
I am currently having problems installing the Pro Cloud.

When running MSI from within an CMD prompt with Administrator privileges, I get the error "Service 'Sparx Systems Professional Cloud ' (Sparx Systems Professional Cloud) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." beyond which it cannot proceed.

I can see the service in the Control Panel, but when attempting to start it I get the error "The Spare Systems Professional Cloud on Local Computer started and then stopped.  Some services stop automatically i they are not in use by other services or programs". It is configured to run as the Local System account.

I can see no logs of any relevant in the logs directory.

This is on Windows 10 Enterprise.

The "Spare Systems Cloud Services" service has started fine.

Can anyone advise how to complete the installation and get this service running?

Thanks.

Its a little unclear, are you trying to setup the msi file or are you starting the service?

May I suggest the following steps
1. Stop 'Sparx Cloud Services'
2. Stop 'Sparx Pro cloud Services'
3. Remove ' Sparx Cloud Services' (add / Remove programs)
4. Remove 'Sparx Pro Cloud Services' (Add / Remove Programs)

You can refer to the following guide for setting up 'Pro cloud Server' https://prolaborate.com/resources/documentation/installation-guide?articles=SetupProCloudServer
