MDG Visual Studio to generate sequence diagrams

Hi

I need to generate sequence diagrams from existing C# code.
Successfully tested in EA by importing the code and running the execution analyser. I have issues with the approach when the dev env involves custom and complex libraries dependencies.
It seems to be ok when I run a precompiled exe file.

I tried the MDG Visual Studio connector but this doesn't seem to be aimed at this purpose at all. Am I right? I don't seem the point of this MDG connector since EA supports links to source code directly.
Am I missing something?
